About Me
Stacy M. Allen
Attorney at Law
Stacy M. Allen has served as counsel on an array of legal matters including civil and criminal law, family law, bankruptcy, and even terrorism cases.
Stacy is a proud graduate of Howard University School of Law, in Washington, DC, where she served as President of the Huver I. Brown Trial Advocacy Moot Court Team, Treasurer of the Howard Public Interest Law Society and volunteered at the New Orleans Public Defenders Office as part of Alternative Spring Break.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Allen graduated cum laude from St. Edward’s University where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations with a concentration in Latin America. While pursuing her degree Ms. Allen held a variety of leadership positions and was eventually awarded the prestigious St. Edwards University’s Presidential Award.
A native of Colón, Panama, Stacy is proud to call Houston home. Ms. Allen currently serves as the Compliance and Awards Officer for the Howard University Alumni Association and is on the Social Justice Committee for the Houston Lawyers Association. Ms. Allen gives back to her community by participating in voter outreach and serving as a mentor to area youth. Her subscription to former Howard Law Dean Charles Hamilton Houston's creed, "a lawyer can be a social engineer, or a parasite to society," is readily apparent in the energy and attention she devotes to her work both in and outside of the courtroom.
